White Silene (Campion)

White silene. This is a fascinating little flower. The stem and tha back of the buds has tiny little hairs making it feel quite furry. Four stems, 6 heads. Pretty little leaves and buds. The Pink silene is a bit like a red campion so this could be like a white campion if there is such a thing.17 inches (43cms) tall

These days Silk Flowers are seldom made purely from silk. Polyester is added making them washable flowers. Swish in a bowl of warm water with a small amount of good washing up liquid. No need to rinse, shake gently and let dry.
